Yanmar Showroom

Project description

The client needed a renovation in his existing warehouse. He wanted to add a showroom and an administering department for the whole building. The showroom will host big equipment for construction such as excavators. As to somewhat adapt the existing design of the neighboring warehouses which were owned also by the client, the exterior will also inhibit a modern design using aluminum cladding. In terms with the interior of the office, the client gave us the freedom to design. I was tasked to complete the architectural aspects of the project such as the re-planning of spaces and the over-all design. With the given data of what the client wanted, I delivered the architectural plans and perspectives using AutoCad, Revit and Sketchup. I also presented the perspectives which were rendered in Vray and post-processed in Photoshop. The showroom gave a distinction to the existing warehouse building alone that also blends with the existing neighborhood. The design was simple yet attractive through its continuity and play of lines.
