Outstanding presentation and communication skills are required along with the ability to be an active listener, motivated team builder, and proactive problem solver.

The ideal candidate will have direct experience effectively managing design and construction teams to meet project milestones and budgets. If you are creative, driven, and results-oriented with a strong design curiosity and passion for innovation, we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • Strong conceptual design and schematic design skills
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in BIM software
  • Experience developing and coordinating construction drawings, design details, and technical systems

Responsibilities:

  • Take initiative to lead and work with project teams and the firm’s leaders to develop initial design concepts and transform them into building solutions, ensuring the design intent is maintained throughout the design evolution
  • Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaboratively lead interdisciplinary teams of clients, design partners, and consultants to achieve a shared design vision
  • Research architectural precedents to inform project design possibilities
  • Develop graphics and visualizations for design presentations
  • Business development and client-facing role

Things we value, but are not required to apply:

  • Experience guiding projects through the general permitting and construction process
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency building techniques as they pertain to high performance buildings
  • Strong understanding of building science, building systems, and resilient design
  • LEED, WELL, or Passive House certification is a plus

CA wants to know about you:

  • Who is your biggest design influence?
  • Why did you pursue a career in architecture?
  • If you could go to any home in the world, where would you go?

This is a full time, in-office role with the opportunity to be hybrid.
