WHO WE ARE

LeBlanc Jones Landscape Architects is an established Boston-based, nationally recognized firm that specializes in large mixed-use and private residential projects throughout the country. We are an experienced team with diverse skills and interests who share a common passion for design excellence.

We are seeking an Associate Landscape Architect with at least 5 years of experience, a passion for design, and eager to grow professionally.

We are seeking a Landscape Architect with 3-5 years of experience, a passion for design and an eagerness to grow professionally.

You are creative, analytical, and resourceful. You think three dimensionally and thrive in a collaborative team environment.  You have strong communication and design skills and are comfortable prioritizing information and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.    

Specific responsibilities are dependent on the selected candidate’s level of experience but generally include:

  • Desire to work on complex, long-term projects with a team
  • Experience with project management and construction observation
  • Experience with and interest in staff development
  • Experience assisting senior project managers in delegating tasks to other team members
  • Ability to lead the preparation of construction documents
  • Ability to lead the production of drawings and 3D models for both design development and presentation
  • Experience with the preparation of proposals and/or other business development efforts
  • Ability to develop and resolve design concepts independently and collaboratively

Licensure & Accreditation

  • Professional Landscape Architect licensure preferred
  • LEED accreditation preferred

Technology

  • AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Sketchup, Lumion
  • An understanding of digital fabrication processes from design development through construction

Plants

  • Strong understanding and background in plant material and planting design
  • Experience with sourcing and tagging plant material with contractors and nurseries

Public Speaking & Community Engagement

  • Design presentations to private clients and public meetings
