The Turett Collaborative (TTC) seeks a motivated, proactive architectural professional for a position as a Junior Designer in our firm.  The ideal candidate is organized, with an attention to detail, able to produce high-quality drawings and presentations, familiar with Revit modeling and assembling of drawing sets, and able to work on numerous projects. Once hired, you will participate in all phases of projects, from schematic design through construction documents and construction administration for new construction and renovations in the high-end residential sector.

This role will work on a wide variety of project types; our firm is a collaborative environment so you should be comfortable working with various design team members on a number of projects.  Great opportunity for a driven and well-rounded individual seeking experience with challenging projects in a creative work environment.

Responsibilities (determined by experience level)

• drafting and detailing for projects of various sizes, primarily residential in NYC

• assisting with preparation of client presentations

• developing drawing sets for submission to Dept of Buildings and Landmarks

• exposure to schematic design through construction administration phases

• assisting project managers with construction administration duties

Requirements

• 1-3 years of professional experience (experience must be in the US, New York tri-state area preferred)

• professional degree in Architecture or a related field (min. level Bachelors)

• strong conceptual and spatial design ability

• strong communication, organizational and collaborative skills

• experience with construction documents and drafting

• experience with Autodesk Revit, as well as rendering development through Enscape

• familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite software, particularly Photoshop & InDesign

• experience with Bluebeam Revu, a plus

• excellent problem solver with good listening skills and strong follow-through

• candidates must have necessary eligibility to work in the US

Employment Details

• this is a full-time position, with a hybrid remote/in-person environment at our TriBeCa studio

• Salary Range: $55k - $65k annually
