Designer: Single-Family Residential

COOKFOX Architects is seeking a practiced designer with at least 3 years of professional experience and demonstrated experience in luxury single-family residential projects.  This position focuses on interior architecture work with an emphasis on the selection of finishes and fixtures, the development of architectural and millwork details, and the coordination of different trades including MEP and lighting. This position requires excellent collaboration, communication, presentation, organizational and time management skills.

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• 3 or more years professional experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• Strong design skills, communication and critical thinking abilities.
• Knowledge of building codes, standards and structures
• Professionalism in dealing with a variety of consultants and vendors
• Self-motivated, energetic, and organized, with strong graphic skills.
• Computer skills must include AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-up, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
