22RE is looking for an architectural designer with experience in residential projects, luxury retail, and restaurants to join our team in Los Angeles. The candidate will have expertise in all phases of project design - SD, DD, CD, and CA with at least 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
Qualifications
Possess a professional degree in architecture.
Have 2-3 years of experience in design phases: Concept, SD, DD, CD, CA.
Experience working with engineers and consultants coordinating design and drawing development.
Construction and building code knowledge is preferred.
Collaborate with fabricators on custom millwork and projects.
Proficiency in Rhino, V-Ray, CAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Duties
Manage multiple design projects end-to-end across restaurants, commercial and private residential; act as main point of contact for projects.
Managing every element of the project’s design development and ensuring that the practice’s design ethos is embedded throughout each stage.
Working collaboratively and managing day-to-day project development. This includes liaising with consultants, incorporating design work, and managing coordination when acting as project lead.
Developing designs using CAD programs including Rhino to a high level of proficiency.
Collaborate with artists and artisans on custom works and projects.
Scope and plan project milestones and timelines; ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
Willing to travel (domestic and international).
Visit construction sites to gather information, answer contractor questions, and prepare punch list as required.
Ability to originate concepts, and be the design lead for teams putting numerous projects together.
Strong leadership/management skills with ability to multitask, all from design inception to completion in all design phases.
Candidates should hold a valid permit for work in the USA.
Candidates should be self-motivated and have excellent drawing and communication skills. They should be effective managers and be passionate about the profession.
