RZAPS (Ricardo Zurita Architecture & Planning) is a collaborative, award-winning firm with a focus on projects that enliven public life in the city.

Our projects are within a broad spectrum of types from new buildings, historic renovation, open spaces and interiors. Our mission is to develop unique, process-driven designs in collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders including private clients, public agencies, and community-based groups.

We are looking for the next key player in our dynamic design team: an Intermediate Design Architect with 5-8 years of experience able to undertake a variety of tasks and responsibilities. The position provides opportunities for accelerated professional growth including experience with a range of project types and with the public review process. Our horizontal collaborative work environment ensures that every member of the firm meaningfully contributes to elevating the quality of our projects.

We are looking for candidates that meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s (5-year) or Master’s Degree in Architecture
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Schematic Design through Construction Documents
• Computer Drawing Skills including BIM (ArchiCAD a plus), AutoCAD and visualization software, including Rhino
• Enthusiasm for following projects from inception through construction
• Interest in contributing to projects that undergo public review
• Professional Licensure a plus
