Larson Architecture Works PLLC is a boutique architecture firm in midtown Manhattan with a varied practice in high quality residential, commercial, retail, and civic projects. Led by Principal Doug Larson, the firm has a strong foundation in contextual design and the work spans historicism to modernism.  We seek to solve problems in creative, thoughtful and effective ways for our clients.

Project Manager Position:

There is an immediate need for a full-time project manager to oversee new and ongoing civic and retail projects. The position may include some residential project management as well. Candidates should ideally have 4 to 10 years of experience with demonstrated project management skills.

·        Manage multiple projects simultaneously: Approach, engage and manage consultants. Have strong construction detailing experience, and the ability to direct and edit content and organization of working drawings.

·        Prepare strategic plans for project success: Coordinate all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.

·        Serve as one of the primary client liaisons to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client’s satisfaction.

·        Actively manage client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; oversees office administrative tasks, project team assignments, staff and timesheets.

·        Assist the Principal in determining scope of work, and preparing proposals and contracts. 


·        Degree in Architecture (BArch, March, or Architectural Technology).

·        Strong AutoCAD skills is a must.

·        Photoshop or other rendering capabilities a plus.

·        Strong visual and verbal communication skills.

·        Ability to confidently work with team and managers on multiple projects.

·        Registration not essential, but a plus.

·        Permanent legal US work status.
