We are exclusively representing a boutique Architecture Firm that specializes in single family and luxury residential work in the NYC metro area. They are currently seeking their next great Project Manager to lead and contribute to existing and future residences.

The PM works very closely with the Principal-in-Charge and Designers of a project. You will act as the primary contact for their clients from the very beginning of the design phase through the end of construction. As a PM it is essential that you ensure that the goal or intent of the design is achieved, fulfilling their client's expectations and ensuring the building follows all structural codes and construction standards. This involves verifying the accuracy and completeness of all drawings and specifications as well as communicating with the contractors on the project. This role is critical to the success of a project, and the on-going success of the firm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Understanding of all aspects and phases of the architectural design and delivery process

• Experience in one of core markets: Multifamily, Mixed-use, New construction

• Experience in high-end residential design is preferred, high-rise experience a bonus

• Ability to develop and execute contracts with outside consultants and clients for services

• Demonstrated ability to define, monitor and maintain control of the scope of work and services for the

project including project schedule and work plan

• Effectively function as facilitator at public meetings and forums, with clients and managing groups

• Zoning experience a plus

• Experience in managing jobs profitably

• Sustainability Accreditation LEED preferred

• Encouraging mentorship of less experienced staff

Requirements

• 6-12 years of professional experience, including 4+ years of direct project management

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, Master's (preferred)

• Licensed or Registered Architect (RA) strongly preferred

• Proficiency in Revit, CAD, SketchUp (preferred)

• Familiarity with building codes and construction standards

• Currently authorized to work in the United States

Client is offering a very attractive benefits package, base salary in the $120-140k range, DOE, with bonus potential. Working within NYC office 5 days a week is necessary.
