Peter Pennoyer Architects is a New York based, award-winning practice in traditional architecture, recognized as a leader in classicism and historic preservation. Our work ranges from houses and apartments to institutional and commercial work, including mid-rise residential apartment buildings.

The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Architectural Visualizer with at least 3 - 5 years’ experience to join the firm's highly skilled and technically innovative teams, and lead our visualization efforts. The ideal candidate will not only have a strong rendering skill set, but the strategic thinking to help grow and improve the firm’s 3D visualization processes going forwards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Own the entire rendering process, from modeling to post-processing
• Interpret architectural drawings and create accurate, highly detailed 3D models
• Work closely with our studio teams to ensure 3D production meets projects’ needs
• Manage and grow our library of rendering materials and assets
• Keep the firm’s 3D rendering processes current as the field changes
• Work closely with BIM team to ensure effective interoperability
• Act as an advocate and evangelist for 3D within the firm

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture preferred 
• Proficient in 3DS Max, Corona Renderer, Photoshop, Sketchup, Rhino, Revit
• Experience with AutoCAD, Lumion, Unreal Engine, ZBrush is a plus
• Able to work self-sufficiently as well as collaboratively
• Comfortable working under deadlines and managing multiple projects at once
• Detail oriented, organized, and diligent
• Able to pick up new software and skills as needed
• An excellent communicator, both verbal and written
