We’re looking for an Architect to join our San Francisco studio, where you’ll work with a highly creative team involved in some of the region’s most exciting developments in commercial architecture and workplace and urban design.

About the role

As an Architect with Hassell, you’ll join a highly talented team of designers, working on a variety of prestigious international projects within commercial workplace architecture and interiors, public realm, and urban master planning.

Our team collaborates with some of the most well-known clients in the US, bringing together strategic intelligence and insights to design and create places where people will love to work, live and socialise.

You’ll be responsible for design, documentation and construction phase services at the direction of senior team members on a range of project types.

About you

We are looking for an Architect who is talented, focussed and driven with a passion for designing places people love.

You should also have:

• A strong understanding and interest in architecture practise commensurate with a minimum of 3 years’ experience coordinating with team leaders, project managers and client teams.
• Well-rounded design and documentation skills
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and associated visualisation software such as Rhino, Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project, and Adobe Suites
• Proficiency preparing presentations and project data in Excel, PowerPoint and Google Slides and Google Sheets.
• High level of proficiency in current rendering software i.e. Enscape, Lumion, Vray.
• Experience with parametric tools i.e. Grasshopper
• An appropriate tertiary qualification in Architecture
• Registration as an Architect in the state of California is highly desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
