A multi-national design firm with a strong commitment to design excellence, stainability, and social responsibility is seeking a Sr. Project Architect to join their Manhattan studio and work on healthcare/technology/lab projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leading the design process from SD to CA. Participates and collaborates in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups.
• Responsible for project documentation execution, construction plans, and details, ensuring quality control and completion.
• Verifies documents reflect the design intents, compliance in code, completion, buildable and accurate sets.
• Coordinates with multiple consultants.
• Attends site meetings and responds to and issues addenda and RFIs.
• Communication with vendors and contractors
• Makes construction site visits and issues reports.
• Reviews shop drawings and submittals as well as prepare punch lists.
• Plays essential role in marketing opportunities and develops successful client relationships for continuing business.
• Mentor and direct the work of junior staff

Skills and experience:

• A degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 12-15 years of experience.
• Relevant project experience in Healthcare/Technology/Labs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Building codes knowledge.
• Ability to multitask.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Rhino, Grasshopper and other conceptual modeling tools are desirable.
• Visualization tools such as Enscape and Vray.
• Architecture license and LEED certification are a big plus.

Salary: $115,000 - $130,000
