SAMPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting the Creative Director and Experiential Designer on various client projects and agency initiatives. 

  • Developing creative ideas and programs for clients. 

  • Developing ideas and programs that meet client objectives using a wide arsenal of tools from live events, sponsorships, partnerships, traditional media, social media, technology, and more. 

  • Participate in brainstorm sessions and creating supporting presentation materials 

  • Working with new business teams to assist in responding to RFPs and new opportunities. 

  • Working with account teams to develop fresh ideas and plans for existing clients. 

  • Partnering with a cross-disciplinary team (including designers, strategists, producers, social and digital experts) to help define and execute concept direction and experience strategy 

  • Working in conjunction with agency design team to bring ideas to life. 

  • Ensuring creative output is results driven. 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

  • Have direct experience in brand marketing. 

  • Have a solid understanding of the experiential marketing and sponsorship landscape. 

  • Be incessantly curious about the world, culture, and trends that affect our business. 

  • Have the ability to think creatively about a variety of challenges and challenge the way we think. 

  • Have a great sense of humor and a positive attitude about stuff that is sometimes not that sweet. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 to 4 years of creative experience in an agency environment. 

  • Strong writing skills and the ability to take an idea from a thought to a full-blown proposal. 

  • Ability to deliver strong concepts for both physical and digital experiences. 

  • A proven track-record of taking big picture ideas and concepts and creating campaigns that flow through all marketing channels. 

  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment. 

  • Excellent writing, presentation, and public speaking skills. 

  • Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities 

 

Gallagher is looking for talented and versatile freelance 3D Designers. 

As a creative agency specializing in brand action, each project we take on is totally different from the next. With that, this role entails conceptual and executional creative work across a variety of project types. 

3D Designers will primarily be responsible for the design of branded spaces and experiences. They work both independently and collaboratively (with both 2D and 3D designers) on projects at varying capacities — leading projects independently, leading projects collaboratively and supporting others on projects. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, collaborate or support on spatial design on small to large scale projects, depending on level of experience 

  • Lead, collaborate or support on the development and execution of all 3D design elements on a project (floor plans, 3D models, polished renderings, etc). 

  • Participate in the creative ideation phase and brainstorms. 

  • Develop original design concepts through mood boards and sketches. 

  • Deliver and present design deliverables directly to clients. 

  • Design with close attention paid to budgets and timelines. 

  • Attend site visits and surveys. 

  • Manage sourcing of props, furniture, and/or decor. 

  • Produce simple graphics using brand guidelines, and prepare files for print.

  • Co-manage fabrication vendors on projects (with Production). Create and manage build lists for quotes. Value engineering as necessary. 

  • Lead, collaborate or support on the design team responsibilities at load-ins/installs. 

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL

  • Have a robust portfolio of spatial design work 

  • Have solid experience working with brands and within brand guidelines

  • Demonstrate solid experience in concepting and designing clever physical environments, sets and displays 

  • Demonstrate a passion for staying on top/ahead of design trends 

  • Be a strong team player and collaborator 

  • Demonstrate an acute attention to detail 

  • Be extremely organized and show diligent follow-through on every task assigned

  • Demonstrate excellent time management. Be able to multi-task and manage several projects with various deadlines at any given time 

  • Possess confidence and ability to articulate in presenting work (internally and externally)

  • Have stellar people & communication skills 

  • Speak up and offer ideas and perspectives that further push the work 

  • Have the ability to work calmly under pressure and meet all deadlines 

  • Be a self-starter and act proactively 

  • Have experience working directly with fabrication shops and speciality vendors/partners

  • Possess basic graphic design skills 

  • Possess at least some working knowledge of print processes 

  • Thrive in a collaborative environment 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Have a proven track record of creative execution with 1-8 years experience

  • Degree in Industrial Design, Environmental/Exhibition Design, Architecture, Interior Design or related field AND/OR have the ability to demonstrate robust experience working in the field (formal college education/degree not required) 

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop at minimum)

  • Have proficiency in SketchUp or other 3D programs, with the ability to learn SketchUp quickly 

  • Working knowledge of Podium, V-Ray or other render programs

  • Hand sketching skills are a plus!
