Summary of Position:

Architectural Project Administrator’s primary responsibilities are to assist the project manager with the efficient administration of architectural projects in maintaining the orderly and timely progress of the work. The Administrator will support the project manager with contracts and throughout design, permitting, and construction administration phases. Knowledge of Architecture and or Construction are helpful but not required. HRA will train for this position and note that individuals pursuing licensure in architecture who have an active NCARB council record will be able to obtain experience credit. 

Specific responsibilities include correspondence with project team members, developing meeting minutes, developing and maintaining project logs, distribution of project documents, developing narratives for project submittals or reviews, scheduling meetings, maintaining project directory, assisting with consultant on-boarding and invoicing, and other tasks as needed to assist the project manager.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Should be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Project cash flow and staffing projections
  • Assist the Project Manager and staff with development of project manual and documents
  • Help develop and coordinate office marketing efforts for new projects
  • Generate and control meeting agendas and minutes, and distribution of deliverables through Newforma software
  • Recent college graduate or current architectural student preferred

Job Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in or related to architecture is preferred, but not required. Administrative staff should learn to be able to anticipate project requirements and be able to work well with others. It is important that the candidate be thorough and able to take direction from leadership. Skills with Microsoft Office Suite is required, and knowledge of Autodesk, Bluebeam, and Newforma are a plus. Position will offer full benefits package upon hiring; salary is contingent upon level of experience.
