Jett Projects is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager with 5-7 years of experience in interior design and interior architectural renovations, to work on new and existing projects and to help build out our team. Founded in 2020, and already covered in publications such as Architectural Digest and New York Magazine, Jett Projects is small but growing quickly with a large number of new projects in and outside of New York City. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is a self-starter and looking to gain confidence and experience in a young design studio by helping to create a team and build out their own role within the studio. 

The Senior Project Manager/Designer will take on at least two large scale interior renovations in NYC, and a select number of smaller furniture-focused projects as workflow allows. This is excellent for someone with proven experience in interior construction, architectural layouts and finishes, and high-end furnishings including vintage, new, and custom fabrication for both large and small-scale residential projects. Over-communicators and friendly go-getters to the front of the line. 


This position of Senior Project Manager/Designer includes the following responsibilities: 

  • Design ideation and concepting directly with Creative Director, and translate this into reality with junior designers and team members.  
  • Create design presentations for client meetings.  
  • Measurements of existing conditions, and translate into drawing sets for pricing and construction  
  • Drawing Set and Specification Package creation and management. Draw and oversee all plans, elevations, details, etc.  
  • Construction Administration - communicate with and manage all on-site contractors, millworkers, vendors, and tradespeople  
  • Furniture Administration - communicate with and manage all aspects of custom furniture, reupholstery, etc.  
  • Sourcing of all architectural and interior design materials (stones, woods, fabrics, fixtures, and fittings)  
  • Ensure FF&E procurement from initial selection and approval, through purchase to delivery and installation  
  • Design various elements of interior spaces through 3D modeling/rendering. Applicants with Rhino/3d rendering experience are necessary.  
  • Maintain project schedule and budget. Update as necessary.  
  • Weekly travel to job sites. Monthly travel to projects located out of state as necessary. 


  • Must have an understanding of AutoCAD.  
  • Must know 3D computer rendering software. Rhino/VRAY is required. 
  • Intermediate understanding of Excel, InDesign, and Photoshop.  
  • Experience with custom furniture design and documentation of various details.  
  • Experience in relaying information to contractors and fabricators  
  • Possesses a driven, go-getter personality with excellent time management skills and an ability to deliver under tight deadlines.  
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Has a keen interest in other creative outlets such as art, fashion, film, nightlife, etc. Has a general knowledge about what is going on in the creative NYC world around them outside of interior design.
