We are a concept-driven studio and are looking for someone who is excited to take part in our critical design process. We begin each project with a fresh perspective and never seek to design to a specific style or aesthetic but follow a rigorous design process. As a small studio, we are highly collaborative and every team member must necessarily be multifaceted, flexible, and able to contribute on multiple fronts within our team. We believe each person should be able to exercise their interests and strengths while also maintaining the scrappiness and flexibility required to jump in on projects where needed.

We are looking for a team member who can take the lead on our architecturally-focused interior projects which range from commercial office spaces to retail to residential. As a project manager we look to you to take a project with us from kickoff to completion. Here’s what is important to us:

  • You can think about projects from the vantage point of overarching concept to details and understand that they are of equal importance

  • You are committed to designing with integrity and thoughtfulness, knowing the end product is something that should enhance the lives of those who engage with it

  • You are both personable and professional, comfortable with the responsibility of managing and leading client meetings

  • You’re  committed to following through and reliability on project status and needs

  • And most importantly, you’re curious and interested in learning and bringing new ideas to the table. We want to learn from you!

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years post graduate experience in an architectural design role.

  • Proficiency in Autocad, Rhino, Sketchup and Adobe software.

  • Knowledge of construction drawing standards, and demonstrated ability to complete Construction Documentation sets a requirement.

  • Demonstrated ability to design/detail custom millwork and furniture.

  • Demonstrates understanding of the construction process and can handle contractor interactions and Construction Administration.

  • Based in NYC or San Francisco.
