Located in Brooklyn Heights, Steven M. Yang Architect LLC (SYA) is an architectural design studio with a research-based approach for producing bespoke residential projects.  Founded in 2005 by Steve Yang, our practice maintains that the appropriate design for each space is driven by our client’s programmatic needs and personal style as well as the inherent qualities of the space including: natural lighting, volumetric proportions, and building typology.  For each client, we craft an individualized experience that appeals to each client’s stylistic and functional needs, employs environmentally responsible materials and methods and enhances the surrounding architectural context.

Experienced in several building typologies including: Upper East pre-war cooperatives, historic row houses, converted lofts, and post-war concrete and glass towers, SYA offers its clients a wide range of design solutions through a variety of architectural styles.

We are looking to fill the position of a Business Administrator.  Our candidate will plan strategies for streamlining business operations, assist with marketing publications, help with budget planning, oversee marketing efforts and social media accounts.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Marketing experience a plus
  • MS Office, Google Docs
