Technical Staff: 

Walter B. Melvin Architects, LLC, seeks applicants for a Technical Staff position to proactively aid in the development and management of exterior restoration and repair projects in their various stages.  Work will include collaborating to survey and assess existing conditions, develop repair approaches, and review and document the construction progress.

 Qualified candidates should have a background in architecture or historic preservation, be proficient in AutoCAD and hand sketching, comfortable doing field work, and looking to expand their technical knowledge.  Interest in architectural restoration, experience assessing historic buildings, and curiosity about past and present building systems a plus.  Previous experience with an architecture firm preferred but not required.

Pay commensurate with experience.  Benefits include quarterly bonuses, holidays, vacation, 401K, health, dental, vision, and disability insurance.
