Senior Project Manager

FG Residential, LLC (“FG”) is a fully integrated private real estate firm with acquisition, asset management, property management, design and construction capabilities. FG’s core growth strategy is focused on the New York City multifamily market in attractive neighborhoods.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Project Manager will coordinate and manage all tasks relating to the planning and completion of building and apartment renovations for FG. The ideal candidate will have experience across multiple aspects of project management and have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, be a creative and engaged team player and respond quickly to new challenges and opportunities.

  • Strategize with asset management to create business plans that achieve maximum potential of each property through thoughtful planning, construction, design and execution.
  • Execute on business plans by overseeing design and construction professionals to create maximum value while ensuring timely performance of multiple concurrent projects; ensure all projects remain on schedule, in compliance, and on budget.
  • Develop and monitor progress schedules and budget tracking; authorize the release of progress payments throughout the project.
  • Report regularly to Asset Management on planning, progress, milestones and budget performance of all current and future projects.
  • Oversee the development of plans with architects; ensure compliance with all DOB permits and regulations.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and subcontractors along with the Construction Manager to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
  • Oversee jobsite administration of documentation, drawings and specs; maintain quality controls to company standards.
  • Hold regular team meetings to review progress, plan future projects, and hold post-mortem discussions.
  • Monitor the construction process to anticipate issues, resolve problems early and keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience within the NYC multifamily construction industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in engineering, management, or related field
  • Highly organized, motivated, and capable of working independently as well as within a team
  • Exceptional presentation skills; able to present detailed information efficiently and clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Able to identify opportunities to create efficiencies and to enhance the overall performance of the organization
  • Creative and resourceful in completing tasks accurately in a compressed timeframe
  • Flexibility and ability to multitask
  • Superior communication skills with all individuals
  • Proactive, dependable, consistent, diligent, and thorough
