We are currently seeking a qualified Studio Manager. The firm is looking for a self-starting problem solver who always strives to find more efficient solutions with a disciplined approach and strong follow-through. As an essential member of a team that places an emphasis on collaboration you will be an integral part to the workings of a diverse and dynamic design studio.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • To manage the day-to-day operations required for the base functionality of Reddymade’s administrative needs.
  • To work upon the direction of the Principal to ensure HR and IT policies are implemented and work with legal consultants to ensure company legal/financial exposures are carefully managed and minimized.
  • To develop and strengthen the Reddymade brand maintaining a standard of professionalism and implementing such policies for the staff and consultants.
  • OFFICE MAINTENANCE:
    • Answer phones and relay messages to staff;
    • Supervise housekeeping, maintenance vendors and office deliveries;
    • Manage and distribute office deliveries;
    • Order office supplies and assist with setup and troubleshooting of equipment;
    • Assist with scheduling meetings for staff as required;
    • Maintain office calendar;
    • Maintain office security system;
    • Spearhead insurance and pension plan renewals;
  • INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS/HR/IT:


    • Assist marketing consultant with supporting publicity and social media tasks, plus assist maintenance of marketing contact list;
    • Manage staff time-off and HR matters;
    • Assist interiors team as needed with client concierge requests;
    • Assist design teams as required with logistics of shipping/travel needs;
    • Manage office communication with IT company; including new machines, onboarding/offboarding staff, maintaining database of all user passwords and software licenses;
  • ASSISTING THE PRINCIPAL:
    • Assist with equipment maintenance;
    • Coordinate travel arrangements;
    • Assist with various personal tasks;
    • Maintain outlook calendar and regularly update contacts.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience; preferably in the design industry
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with graphic design, including Adobe Creative Suite products is a plus
  • Capable of working well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment with well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs required
  • Clean and presentable; Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in interactions
  • Ability to manage and take ownership of multiple long-term engagements
