Bull Stockwell Allen is seeking a talented, detail-oriented Project Architect to join us in San Francisco to work on a variety of four-season hospitality, mountain resort, and recreation projects in inspired settings throughout North America. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills and will bring the ability to represent the firm and lead the design and production of $5 to $60M projects through the various stages of programming, planning, and construction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in designing resort residential, multifamily housing, and/or hospitality projects. Other critical attributes include an innate ability to lead by example, dedication to long-term client relationships, and exceptional communication skills.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop project design throughout different phases of development from programming through construction;
• Use creativity and experience to conceptualize and problem solve;
• Coordinate regularly with Clients, BSA Design Team, and Consultants;
• Participate in firm business development and interviews
• Lead by example
• Act as a mentor and design leader for team members

QUALIFICATIONS + REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 3 to 6+ years of experience after College/University
• A bachelors’ degree or masters-in-architecture is required
• Exceptional design and presentation skills
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with team members, consultants, and clients
• Demonstrate skills with various software including, for example, Rhino, Revit, etc
• Hand drawing skills are also a plus
• Licensure in architecture is preferred for this position, but not mandatory as long as the candidate is working toward licensure
