Join our team! MoDe Studio is seeking exceptional passionate Architects/Designers for immediate employment in a collaborative and challenging environment. Applicants are expected to take an active and independent role throughout the entire design and implementation process. The Studio is located in Sullivan Square, nestled between Union Square and Assembly Row (T - Orange Line, Sullivan Square Station).

Position: Project Architect / Designer | Full-time, Immediate

Salary Range: $60-90k

MoDe Studio is an international, highly design–driven firm that builds upon a strong and diverse portfolio. Based in Boston, current projects include small– and mid–scale residential and mixed use developments, as well real estate consulting and in-house development projects.

in 2013 MoDe Studio and MIT’s Sustainable Design Lab founded clean tech spinoff Mapdwell, an urban information start-up engaged in conceptualization, design, and implementation of information tools to drive sustainable practices. Mapdwell delivers meaningful information through powerful and engaging decision-making tools that transform complex data into access, action, and progress. Focused on energy, Mapdwell has developed an award-winning, open platform capable of visualizing the solar PV potential of any rooftop in the world, and is currently developing groundbreaking tools to transform energy decision-making.

Candidates must:

  • Have demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing;
  • Be proactive, professional, diligent, organized and resourceful;
  • Have a professional degree in Architecture, preferably Master in Architecture (or Urban Design);
  • Have 2+ years of professional work experience;
  • Exhibit exceptional design abilities;
  • Be knowledgeable in presentation deliverables (AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, Physical Models, etc.); 
  • Be able to start work immediately; and
  • Have US Work Authorization (no visa sponsorship requirement).

What would be a plus:

  • Spanish
  • Coding
  • GIS experience
