Lincoln Lighthill Architect (LLA) is full-service architecture firm located in the Bernal Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. We take great pride in practicing modern, minimalist, sustainable design across a range of project typologies, with a focus on process and attention to detail. We are a small but growing firm with a relaxed office environment.

LLA is looking for a full-time Project Manager/Architect to join our team. Our ideal candidate has a broad-based, small firm skillset, with experience in all aspects of design, detailing, and project management on small to medium scale work. Good communication and organizational skills are key. Experience managing small teams is also important.

As a member of our team, you will be involved in all aspects of project delivery. You will work closely with the firm principal, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Our rapidly growing practice is a great opportunity for professional growth and firm leadership for a motivated candidate.


  • 7+ years’ experience and a B.Arch. or M. Arch. from an accredited architecture school.
  • Ability to handle drafting, design, and project management tasks in the overlapping and fluid manner that smaller, design-oriented projects often require.
  • Proficiency in standard architectural and related design software applications.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills a must.
  • Must currently live in the Bay Area (or be planning to move here in the very near future) and hold a valid US passport, green card, or work visa.

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary based on experience and education. Benefits include employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance; an available HSA and retirement plan; 10 paid office holidays; 15 days of PTO with increases over time, and a flexible work schedule.
