One of the most recognizable, award winning design firms specializing in the design of high-end hospitality and retail design is currently seeking to fill a full-time Project Manager position to join their New York studio. In this role, you will be to provide support during all phases of the project whilst collaborating with the team to deliver high-profile projects.  Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with Senior Leadership to deliver design strategies that map with the project’s design narrative and studio initiatives.
  • Work with Senior Leadership in monitoring project schedules, budget costs, and ensure compliance with design intent
  • Collaborate in the development of drawings at all phases (SD/DD/CD), ie. Bid packages for tender, contractor selection and negotiation
  • Review and coordinate with vendor/contractor’s requests for clarification.
  • Review Interiors related Shop Drawings and Submittals.
  • Work with Project Coordinator for relevant documents needed as related to FF&E procurement.

Skill and Experience:

  • Fluency in reading/writing Cantonese/Mandarin is key to this role.
  • Must have 4-6 years of professional experience in Retail and Hospitality including: Private Lounges, Restaurants, Boutique Hotels, and Amenities.
  • Must have a BA Interior Design, BA Interior Architecture, B.Architecture, or M.Architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of Interior Details, Construction means + methods, and on-site experience are essential to this role.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects is a PLUS.
  • Proven experience in all phases: SD, DD, CD, and CA.
  • Software proficiencies: Hand Sketching, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and AutoCAD.
