Arquitectonica is a design-focused architecture, interior design and planning firm that began in Miami in 1977 as an experimental studio. Led by Bernardo Fort-Brescia and Laurinda Spear, the studio has evolved into a worldwide practice, combining the creative spirit of the principals with the efficiency of delivery and reliability of a major architectural firm.

We are seeking a team-oriented Intermediate Architect with 5-10 years of experience for the New York office. Assignments will range in variety from high-rise residential and large scale mixed-use developments to master planning projects, predominantly here in the US Northeast Region and Canada.  Candidates must demonstrate strong design skills, Revit proficiency and construction documentation experience. Responsibilities include maintaining BIM files, folders, and protocol already established as well as overseeing the Revit proficiency of junior staff members. Successful candidates will be able to work both independently and on a team, as well as contribute in all phases of design.

Requirements include:

  • Project coordination internally with staff and with consultants

  • Revit proficiency

  • Excellent organizational, communications and graphic skills

  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office

  • 3D modeling experience using Rhino, 3D Max, and Sketchup

  • Excellent command in spoken and written English

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Code and material research
