Summary

We are seeking a full-time, experienced graphic designer and creative marketing manager to own the creation and maintenance of both our marketing assets and content created to support our projects and other marketing goals.

Applicants should have strong design skills, exceptional organizational skills, with an interest in all things architectural, interiors, and furniture related.   Applicants should also be able to work independently under the supervision of one or more supervisors.

Tasks

  • Help bring new ideas for design and content creation to the team using your expertise and eye for great design.

  • Organize and participate in photo shoots and video shoots of INC’s projects and products.  Photo editing in Photoshop and an interest/competence in videography and editing are desired.

  • Participate in the development of image based concept presentations in relation to creative marketing.

  • Develop graphic branding on projects and internally.

  • Responsible for all marketing digital asset management.

  • Create and maintain internal graphic standards for digital assets.

  • Create and produce portfolios and collateral for marketing.

  • Produce and maintain social media on a weekly basis.

  • Maintain and update website content implementing SEO principles.  Organize and lead any new roll-outs.

  • Work with accounting to develop appropriate aspects on marketing budgets.

  • Complete projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.

  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.

  • Handle the creative/marketing aspects of event planning.

Competencies

  • Ability to tell a story graphically

  • Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Premier, Illustrator, Lightroom, and Powerpoint or similar.

  • Very organized and systematic in thinking

  • Marketing budgeting

  • Detail oriented and organized

  • Creative

  • Understands complex scheduling

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience.

  • Past experience as either an in-house designer or at a marketing agency (internships acceptable).

  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite or similar technologies.

  • Candidates must be legally allowed to work in the US.

INC Architecture & Design is a multi-disciplinary Architecture and Design studio, with experience in a wide range of project types located in the SoHo area of New York City. Benefits

This salaried position benefits begin after a three month introductory period.  Benefits include two weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays, plus time off between Christmas and the New Year; health, dental, and vision insurance;  a company mobile phone; and 401K. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Taxes will be withheld from salary as per the requirements of the IRS and New York State.
