To accommodate an expanding number of hospitality, cultural and commercial projects, Parc Office is seeking an Interior Designer (2-5 years experience) to join our dynamic and highly focused teams.  Individuals will work within a team of talented and motivated colleagues to explore innovative design solutions and challenge preconceptions while working closely with a Project Architect and Parc Office’s leadership in a fast-paced and extremely collaborative environment. This position will primarily focus on interior design and architecture work for retail and hospitality clients with a focus on the selection of materials & finishes and the development of architectural and millwork details.

Ideal candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture 
  • 2 to 5 years professional experience in an architectural or interior design office
  • Exceptional facility with AutoCad and Adobe CS; Rhino & VRay preferred.
  • Experience in construction document preparation and architectural/interior finishes is necessary.
  • Knowledge of specifications and procurement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) is necessary.
  • Knowledge of interiors-related building codes, standards and IMO or LEED standards a plus 
  • Strong graphic communication skills with the ability to execute beautiful presentations (physical models, drawings, diagrams, renders) within a rapid project schedule. 
  • An entrepreneurial, confident, collaborative, hands-on attitude and willingness to tackle the unexpected and the unknown
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in design teams.

You must be from or available to work in New York City immediately.  Please include visa status in response if applicable.

Pay commensurate with experience. Part-time to full-time negotiable. Ability to start immediately preferred.
