YOU WILL
// Oversee schematic design and test fits
// Assist with design development of restaurants
// Oversee the CD phase with a focus on technical execution of design intent
// Work with kitchen designer to layout and specify equipment
// Work with design team to develop, order, and install exterior signage
// Review drawings for constructability, code compliance, design intent, and coordination between the disciplines
// Vendor management
// Specification and procurement of owner-provided items
// Attend regular site visits, review submittals, and redline shop drawings through construction administration
// Work with construction team to complete punchlist and turnover of restaurants in support of capital renovations, capital initiative execution, and maintenance of existing stores
REQUIREMENTS // Strong experience in and sound working knowledge of the detailing and design of restaurants
// Experience in the preparation of construction documents
// Experience in in-house quality assurance; and in construction administration on small and complex projects.
// Experience should include design, detailing, specification, shop drawing and mock-up review, and site observation as well as detailing and coordination of CDs, including drawings and specifications.
// Candidate must demonstrate effective technical abilities; have demonstrated superior problem defining and solving skills;
// Strong design sensibilities and interests.
