dash design, an award-winning interior design firm, seeks a dynamic, experienced leader for the combined position of Senior Project Manager / Studio Leader.  The position is an opportunity to build on dash's established expertise in the hospitality arena, and to be a key part of the leadership of a growing creative company.

Applicant must hold a professional degree in Architecture.  All applicants must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the profession including at least 5 years of experience in management of the hospitality market in an architectural or interior design firm.  Licensed interior designers with appropriate levels of experience may also be considered for the position, providing they can demonstrate substantial experience with management and delivery of projects that include architectural services. Must be very familiar with U.S. codes and standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Manager, the selected candidate shall be responsible for one or more complex hospitality projects.  He or she will work collaboratively with the firm leadership and other Studio Directors to achieve project goals as well as the overall goals and philosophy of the firm.  Experience with hospitality brands and owners, management of projects and project teams and coordination of multi-disciplinary professionals are core requirements of the position.  Our studio employs both architects and interior designers, and therefore knowledge and experience working with the interior design team is crucial.

As Studio Leader, The Studio Leader shall act as mentor and advisor to junior Project Managers, by establishing and promoting clear and thorough project management practices both for external and internal use.   The Studio Leader shall collaborate closely with the Executive Creative Director towards establishing and achieving a high level of rigor and innovation in designed environments.  The Studio Leader will also work closely with the Marketing Director to ensure that proposals are written in accordance with project processes, and the selected candidate shall lead the balancing of work effort against project fees.
