a new residence for a family of 6 in aspen,CO.  the challenge was to design a house that was scaled with lots of natural light with expansive views of snowmass mountain.  There was extensive use of reclaim materials,a requirement to fit the structure in between the aspens which allowed the creation of courtyards or piazzas so each room, although may not have a view of the mountain, they would have views into small secluded courtyards.
