ArchTriump Design Competition Entry: 3rd Place 2012

The design proposal intends to create a landmark which acts as a passage way to blur the boundary between people and the natural aquatic environment. The unique form of the structure is influenced by its vernacular surroundings and resembles the organic rock formations which adds beauty and character to the ocean’s horizon. The structure endeavours towards a state of prominance but also aims at respecting and improving its surroundings through environmental design methods and coral rehabilitation programs. The design not only provides modern facilities for health, relaxation and fitness users but aims at creating an awareness and appreciation of the aquatic ecosystems. Miami’s Fitness Centre will create a relationship between humans and the ocean.

Programs Utilised: Revit, Google Sketchup, Adobe Design Suite
