I am Jiayu Chen. I graduated from Texas A&M University with my Master's Degree in
Architecture in May 2014.
Equipped with a Bachelor's Degree of Architecture from the Nanjing University of
Technology in China. I worked as an intern in Tongshe Architectural Design Institution
Limited Corporation and Jiangsu Jiangdu Architectural Design Institution Limited
Corporation in China. I came to Texas A&M University to continue my studies. I am familiar
with Auto CAD, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, Revit, and Rhino and so on. I have lots of
s of free-hand sketch. During my studies, I gained research and design
experience through academic projects such as master planning, reconstruction of industry,
reorganization of historical neighborhood, sustainable design, healthcare design ( healing
garden and clinic for veteran, children’s clinic, children’s ambulatory hospital and
children’s hospital). When I graduate, my final project, Shanghai Children’s hospital in
Shanghai China, was selected as “TOP 10” in college; and I also got the Certification of
Health Systems & Design from Texas A&M University.
