Perched atop a public gallery, a private residential vessel scopes the ocean, acting as a sentinel for an urban park. The Oneiric House is a mixed use complex situated in the northeastern sector of Boyle Heights. The proposal responds to the expanding gentrification in the area by combining multiple building types that negotiate the height limit recquired by city code. The project maximizes private space vertically while designating the ground for public and cultural use, serving as an incentive for pedestrian and cultural activity.
