Design V - Fall 2011 - Professor Brian Johnston

Project Intent:  Create a nutritional food complex that FACILITATES commuter travel and INITIATES healthier lifestyles in a low income area deprived of food accessibility.

Design Statement:  By dividing the retail grocery store into two levels, entrances directly from the El subway on the second and third floors facilitate commuter accessibility while also providing a series of views throughout the entire space.
