A new boundary for a restaurant

ELLARY’S GREENS, SOUTH VILLAGE, NEW YORK

This is an exploration the notion of threshold. The design incporates by  new interior boundaries, facade and dining area for the organic restaurant Ellary’s Greens, a food cafe that focuses on quality food for those on the go.

The entire concept of restaurant came from the material : Plywood. From studying plywood’s system of organization, the circulations and layout of the space are regulated The cross-graining system of plywood are applied as furniture units and partitions and create boundaries between customers and servers.
