Jackie Salazar McCallion is an artist and designer based in Los Angeles. She received her B.A. in Urban & Environmental Policy from Occidental College and her M. Arch 1 from the Southern California Institute of Architecture.
Her varied interests in art, architecture, writing, and research have led her to an interdisciplinary career in architecture, interiors, design strategy, graphic design, experiential design, and production design. Jackie is a world traveler, a lover of languages, and a global citizen. She is fluent in both Spanish and English, and has lived in Mexico, Puerto Rico, the UK, Southern California, and New England throughout her life. In her free time, Jackie enjoys reading, ceramics, yoga, cooking, and going on adventures with her rescue dogs.

Richter Scholar, 1st Place
Competed for and earned a Richter Research Abroad grant to conduct an entirely independent original research on nationalism and urban design in Edinburgh, Scotland, becoming the youngest recipient of a Richter grant in Occidental College’s history. I produced an academic paper for the Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research, at which I presented in November of 2008.
