This scheme to re-configure a large Victorian house to create 5 flats for two brothers, who in addition wish to live there, but also provide accommodation for aging parents.
A substantial double-height rear extension is proposed which takes its sculptural form from the planning requirements to prevent overshadowing.
Cutting away at the bronze-clad extension allows for a larger extension and a dynamic structure that enlivens the rear of the house whilst complementing the original building mass.
