Conjunto Habitacional de Carcavelos, one of Joaquim Bento Lousan's most important projects. This neighbourhood is the result of one of the most important large-scale urban interventions carried out under the Serviço de Apoio Ambulatório Local (SAAL), a program that set out to meet the housing needs of the most underprivileged classes after the April Revolution.
