The competition was an internal college of architecture and urban studies competition.  The challenge was to design a new Amtrak Station for Clifton Forge Virginia, either by renovating the old station or proposing a new one. 

My proposal, was for a new station that boarders the tracks.  The site doubles as a station and park for viewing the coming and going trains.  The park is on a different elevation as the station, where it is level with the station roof.  The inner station wall acts as a retaining wall for the park behind it.
