Recruiting.com, parent company of Jobing.com was searching for an office space to consolidate their headquarters. As one of the Valley's leading technology companies, the team was looking for a space "that screams collaboration and innovation".  CEO Aaron Matos turned to Cathy Hayes with hayes/architecture interiors inc. to design their new space at SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center, the leading technology hub in Arizona. The common goal was to create a highly functional, innovative, motivating and durable work environment while shaping a new type of office for the Valley to be on par with the likes of Mountain View, CA. 

Design Concept Goals: 
Shaping spaces out of steel, glass, and rotating wood studs then appointing with alternating black and white furnishings, lighting and artwork reinforces that people bring the color and therefore the focus. The goal was to create numerous types of environments for the team to enjoy eating together, workout and get ready, nap or nurse. This all results in the team being able to collaborate, strategize and work independently in quiet spaces. The center spaces for fitness and kitchen bring the work-day community together.

Highlight features include 2 ceiling suspended collaborative work spaces, HUDDLES, with articulating wood verticals offer visual and acoustic privacy while being dynamic dueling volumes defining the edges of the reception area. Each one is designed to function as a flexible, playful space for client meetings, video conference calling & team collaborative sessions, driving creativity & innovation. 

The lighting has been designed for each space so that it is effective, entertaining and energy-efficient; creating high and low lighted areas while composing an overall seamless sophistication.
