About

As an interior/architectural designer and project manager having worked for over 10 years in the New York City, Long Island, and Connecticut markets, I have gained a wide range of knowledge and experience in all areas of the high-end residential industry. While my education is rooted in interiors and architecture, my experience and passion has been in construction and restoration projects. I possess strong project management skills and enjoy being part of a motivated team. Although design often takes place at our desks, I prefer to be out on site actively involved in seeing vision turn into reality.

Nordic Custom Builders, Cos Cob, CT, US, Project Manager

Upon starting with Nordic Custom Builders, I was a Senior Estimator handling all of their job estimating from pre-construction through design development, while tracking budgets for current projects. Throughout this time, I implemented a new estimating system in order to increase efficiency and volume.

Since 2013, I have been promoted to Project Manager, overseeing construction on small to large scale high-end residential projects, ranging in size from 3,000 to over 15,000 sf. Our projects vary from New York City apartments and townhouse renovations to ground-up builds in the Greenwich, CT area.

I have also been responsible for developing all company marketing strategies, including the redesign of our website and portfolio, seeking out new clientele through industry events and social media, as well as redeveloping our branding through new company uniforms, internal/external spreadsheets and documents.

During my time with Sandra Nunnerley Inc., I worked as a Senior Interior Designer and Project Manager in the high-end residential field, assisting through all phases of design development including space planning, drafting of plans, elevations and details, creating color and inspiration schemes, sourcing and selection of custom, antique/vintage furnishings, accessories, high-end fabrics, fixtures, finishes and art.

I developed all client presentations, conducted client meetings, created all design proposals, purchase orders, contracts and FF&E tracking spreadsheets, as well as coordinated purchasing and handled vendor correspondence.

I oversaw all internal and on-site construction administration for several projects from demolition through punch list and orchestrated and supervised all final interior installations and photo shoots.

I consulted on and assisted in the design and final development of the Sandra Nunnerley Interiors book, from sourcing and purchasing imagery rights, collaborating on passage development with the authors to final photo selection and layout with the publishing house.
