This project considers natural processes for energy regulation, climatic mediation, material assembly, formal organization, and structural logics as a source of biomimetic inspiration for the design of a fitness and wellness center. The Northern Liberties Wellness Center is exploring the use of phase change material in architectural application. Wellness Center is designed to increase building’s performance and experiential qualities by utilizing water at its various states. The facility is equipped with infrastructure that allows for water collection, storage and its exhibition.
