Envision Depot Square Holyoke was a series of events hosted by our studio and Sponsored by the City of Holyoke, MA. The events included a block party to raise awareness that the train is returning to Holyoke, MA with service from New York. The Block Party also provided an opportunity to invite the public to come to the more intimate community dialogues. The three dialogues discussed  the past present and future Holyoke. The first of the dialogues focused on Economic Development, the second on History and Culture, and the third on Food and Fitness.



​The Pop-up Table Map is an interactive backlit surface mounted on a table. The surface depicts a map of the proposed train route. The map calls out some destinations which might  be important to the residents of Holyoke, New York, Montreal, and, of course, Holyoke itself. This project is meant to be educational, a way for children to learn about where these places are in relation to them.  The map is geared toward children, however, it is meant to be tool for educating adults about the new route and the coming of the new train station.
