SEC Congress Center

The new conference hall of SEC Servizi originates from the addition of an all-wood volume – a “musical instrument” – inside an area featuring black walls and floors, which represents the physical and acoustic separation between the main hall and the adjacent areas in the building.

The wooden volume is entirely covered with cut-to-measure milled doussié panels, which are laid horizontally outside and vertically inside the conference hall. The panels serve as cabinets, spaces for the mobile walls, terminals of installations, soundproof sheets.

The “black” areas around it and all other service volumes make room for a large foyer and other conference rooms.
