About

The world is defined by simple rules; uncovering them is my passion.

I am a designer living and working in New York City. I believe that foundation for design can be found in just about anything, provided the approach is rigorous and precise. Much of my work takes inspiration from natural systems. I have researched structural foam networks, light refraction in liquid caustics, best fit path scenarios based in branching algorithms, and shark-skin geometry for aerodynamic precision.
Although I studied as an architect, I work in a variety of scales, including graphic design, product design, boat design, and architecture. See my portfolio for examples of my work
