I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I have always had a major appreciation for music, film, photography, art, design, and architecture. I spent my first few years in community college studying literature and English. Then I discovered art & design and my life was completely changed. I took one year of art & design studio classes in community college and soon applied to design school.

I have always seen myself as a dynamic person – a complex anomaly or multi-faceted. I view everyone, every situation, and every thing the same way: multi-faceted & multi-dimensional. I have continued to challenge myself, my boundaries, and my comfort zone by going where the the best options and best learning opportunities have taken me. Doing my foundation year at Otis College of Art & Design in Los Angeles, my sophomore year in interior design at California College of the Arts in San Francisco, and my junior and senior year in interior design at Pratt Institute in New York City, has given me a diverse set of experiences. These experiences have allowed me to learn from various cultures, see through various perspectives, and learn and gain various techniques and methods. Ultimately, I have developed a distinct view of design and an appreciation for varied aesthetics. These faceted graphics represent this view on design: that people are multi-faceted; that design is a multi-faceted process; that every design or project is in itself multi-faceted; and that without serious consideration to each facet, one cannot achieve intelligent or good design.
