This was a studio class at Cal Poly Pomona and was a inter-disciplinary studio with the architecture students. The master planning project took place in the eastern downtown area of Los Angeles dealing specifically with the L.A. River. A system of parks, or "wells" were designed in the downtown area that were connected by diverting the river water. The project looked into the future of L.A. for up to the next 50-100 years which included the potential eradication of parking lots into parks for ourselves. It also addressed the possible future of the many dilapidated warehouses in L.A. that may become obsolete with the rapidly growing industry of 3-D printing.
