Leo wanted to build a house using his own skills and a lineup of friends to fill in where needed.  He didn't know a thing about designing or drawing, so he asked me to make a appealing design to fit in with the neighborhood.  I gave him this semi-craftsman style home.  As usual, qualities which one does not expect came through on this house.  Because we were using such a small footprint by keeping the existing basement, a full second floor was required to accommodate everything they wanted.  As a result, Leo's home took on a strong vertical 'soaring' look, accentuated by the entrance tower and sprawling garage.  We were all very pleased with the result.
