McCarter & English, a two-decade fixture in Center City Philadelphia, required a new and updated office space. The law firm selected Francis Cauffman to develop a streamlined architectural style with a more open floor plan to encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing. McCarter & English was also able to downsize from 23,000 SF to 18,000 SF, with modest-sized private offices and a more efficient layout design. The new office also incorporates a lot of glass to help bring in a lot of natural light into the space. Veering away from the traditional law firm design, McCarter & English now has a contemporary and modern office that betters suits its attorneys and staff.
