In a rare opportunity to work in one of Manhattan’s premier buildings, Frampton Co brought aesthetic spirit into this newly constructed tower. The encompassing views dominate the space and the interior achieves a complimentary balance without competing. We treated the views the same way we approach art, by taking compositional cues from the space. Central Park textures and the color palettes from the shifting sky inspired textile and flooring choices. The owner’s penchant for color and asymmetry was met with formal, tailored pieces and thoughtful engagement of the architectural envelope; all punctuated by custom whimsical accents.
